Bikes n Trikes
The Bikes n Trikes Program brings rehabilitation and smiles to our some of our youngest patients. The only program of its kind in Canada, Bikes 'n' Trikes provides children with complex neuromotor disabilities receive an adapted bicycle or tricycle at no cost. The equipment improves cardiovascular health, respiratory activity, bone growth, and strengthens anti-gravity muscles all while removing emotional and physical barriers to social interaction with peers.
Overall, it provides a child with freedom, independence, confidence by removing social isolation.
