VOLUNTEER

CANCER SUPPORT PROGRAM

Volunteers are the heart of the Chalmers Foundation, providing support at every level of the organization. We are currently seeking dedicated and empathetic volunteers for our Cancer Support Program in Area 3 of Horizon Health Network.

Whether you have been on your own cancer journey, have been a caregiver for someone with cancer, or you are someone who has gifts and skills to share, the Cancer Support Program welcomes and values your contribution.

By investing your time and talents into the Cancer Support Program you:

♥ Help others

♥ Develop new skills

♥ Meet amazing people

♥ Make a positive contribution to your community

The Cancer Support Program is dedicated to helping individuals navigate the emotional, social, physical, and practical challenges of living with cancer through offerings of:

♥ Exercise & Movement

♥ Individual & Group Support

♥ Symptom Management

♥ Education & Self-Development

The program aims to provide holistic support beyond the clinical setting. Its goal is to enhance the overall quality of life for participants by offering comprehensive, community-based support throughout their cancer journey.
