When someone is facing health challenges, the support of family and loved ones can be a crucial part of their healing journey. The Kiwanis House, conveniently located next door to the Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation, offers a comforting "home away from home," providing out-of-town families with a safe and welcoming space to stay together while navigating life's changes.
Right now, the Kiwanis House needs your help to upgrade its three accessible, low-cost units, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment for patients undergoing rehabilitation. These much-needed upgrades include features like a hi-low table that brings families together for meals and streaming subscriptions that offer moments of joy and laughter when they are needed most.
