Great healthcare doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because a community decides to show up for it, and in 2025, Fredericton and the Upper River Valley showed up in a big way.
This year, that belief turned into real places, real equipment, and real programs for people across the region. In October, we opened the Chalmers Foundation Care & Support Centre, a space built entirely by donors for people living with cancer. We confirmed the most ambitious fundraising campaign in our 40-year history for a Hybrid Operating Room at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, set to be the first facility of its kind in New Brunswick. We kept rehabilitation programs moving forward at the Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation, and we put Health & Wellness grants directly into community-rooted initiatives that meet people where they live, work, and thrive.
None of it happens without you. In 2025, your generosity added up to $3.4 million raised, 2,522 gifts from 1,707 donors, 384 new donors, and 15 fundraising initiatives across our region.

Because of your generosity in 2025, we brought better care, new equipment, and real comfort to patients and families across Fredericton and the Upper River Valley.
