Chalmers Foundation Care & Support Centre officially opened its doors in October 2025. The Care & Support Centre was 100% donor funded. This space is the home that is needed for the cancer community.
The Care & Support Centre serves as the dedicated home for community-based cancer support programming, offering welcoming, thoughtfully designed spaces for its Learn & Live Well, Strength & Movement, Care & Support, and Create & Express offerings.
The Care & Support Centre features the Empowerment Studio for movement and mindfulness programs and educational sessions; a fully equipped Wellness Kitchen for nutrition programming and community connection; and private rooms for Peer Support and restorative care appointments.
Its goal is to enhance physical well-being, emotional and social resilience, and meaningful community connection for individuals with lived cancer experiences, and their support networks, at any point in their journey.
