Our programs are open to anyone impacted by cancer — whether you’re newly diagnosed, in treatment, in recovery, or supporting a loved one. All services are free and offered in a welcoming, community-based setting.
Chalmers Foundation Cancer Support helps individuals with lived cancer experiences and their support persons. Whether you are living with cancer, living beyond cancer, or are a caregiver to someone who has a lived cancer experience, our Cancer Support programming is designed to provide support and community for you.
In May 2025, the Chalmers Foundation Care & Support Centre proudly opened its doors to the community. The Centre serves as the dedicated home for community-based cancer support programming, offering welcoming, thoughtfully designed spaces for its Learn & Live Well, Strength & Movement, Care & Support, and Create & Express offerings.
The Care & Support Centre features the Empowerment Studio for movement and mindfulness programs and educational sessions; a fully equipped Wellness Kitchen for nutrition programming and community connection; and private rooms for Peer Support and restorative care appointments.
Its goal is to enhance physical well-being, emotional and social resilience, and meaningful community connection for individuals with lived cancer experiences, and their support networks, at any point in their journey.
Chalmers Foundation Cancer Support is 100% funded by our generous donors. By making a donation to Cancer Support, you are helping keep these programs free and accessible to your community when they need it most.
